Adding the Knips webhook URL to your Elementor form allows you to integrate your form submissions directly into Knips for streamlined data collection and engagement. Follow these simple steps to set it up:

Step 1: Log In to Your WordPress Dashboard

  1. Access your website's WordPress admin panel by navigating to [yourdomain.com]/wp-admin.

  2. Enter your username and password.

Step 2: Navigate to Your Elementor Form

  1. Go to the page where your Elementor form is located.

    • If it's an existing page, click Pages or Posts and locate the one containing the form.

    • If you're creating a new page, click Add New under Pages or Posts, and add an Elementor form widget.

  2. Click Edit with Elementor on the page.

Step 3: Configure the Form Widget

  1. Select the Form widget by clicking on it.

  2. In the left sidebar, scroll to the Actions After Submit section.

  3. Add Webhook to the list of actions.

    • If it's not already added, click the "+" icon, type "Webhook," and select it.

Step 4: Add the Knips Webhook URL

  1. After adding the webhook action, a new Webhook field will appear below the "Actions After Submit" section.

  2. Paste your Knips-provided webhook URL into the field.

    • Example: https://api.knips.io/webhooks/your-webhook-endpoint

Step 5: Map Form Fields to Knips

  1. Ensure the form fields in Elementor correspond to the required fields in Knips (e.g., name, email, phone number).

  2. Use Elementor’s Advanced tab for each field to add a custom ID or label if needed.

    • These identifiers will help map the form data correctly.

Step 6: Test the Integration

  1. Save and update the page.

  2. Go to your live site and fill out the form to test the webhook connection.

  3. Verify that the data is being sent to Knips by checking your dashboard or webhook logs.

Troubleshooting

  • Not Receiving Data in Knips?

    • Double-check the webhook URL for typos.

    • Ensure the form fields are correctly mapped to match the expected Knips data format.

  • Form Not Submitting?

    • Check that the Webhook action is added to the Actions After Submit section.

    • Verify other plugins are not interfering with form submissions.

Conclusion

Your Elementor form is now successfully integrated with Knips! All form submissions will be sent to Knips via the webhook for processing and engagement.
